3. Our Response to a Valid DMCA Notice

Upon receiving a complete and valid DMCA takedown notice, WP Host Guru will:

  • Notify the user who posted the content (if applicable) of the takedown and provide them an opportunity to submit a counter-notice (see Section 5).
  • Document the notice and our actions for legal compliance.

We aim to process takedown requests as quickly as possible, typically within 48-72 hours, though this may vary depending on the complexity of the claim.

4. Repeat Infringers

WP Host Guru reserves the right to terminate access to our website for users who are repeat copyright infringers, as determined in our sole discretion and in accordance with DMCA guidelines. Since our site primarily distributes GPL-licensed content and does not host user-uploaded material beyond contact form submissions, this policy applies mainly to misuse of our platform or content outside GPL terms.

5. Filing a Counter-Notice

If you believe material was removed from WP Host Guru due to a mistake or misidentification (e.g., the content is GPL-licensed or you have rights to it), you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

7. Limitations of Liability

WP Host Guru acts in good faith to comply with DMCA requirements but is not liable for:

  • Errors or delays in processing takedown notices or counter-notices.
  • Damages resulting from the removal or restoration of content, as we act as a distributor of GPL-licensed material.
